Adagio de Albinoni

Hoy le ha tocado a esta gran obra, el Adagio de Albinoni en sol menor. Una tremendísima obra, que al contrario de lo que piensa muchísima gente, no fue escrita por Tomaso Albinoni, sino por otro compositor que ahora no recuerdo, hace relativamente poquito tiempo, allá por los años 40.

También era conocedor de esta composición cuando era pequeño, mostrada por mi abuela. Fue una gran sorpresa oir que mi grupo favorito junto a S.O.A.D., The Doors, versionasen esta composición para el A Feast of Friends del An American Prayer de poemas de Jim, aunque también la versionaron instrumentalmente sin letra para el Waiting for the Sun.
